Aim

The Food Regulation Standing Committee (FRSC) is the lead for this activity.
Authorisation
In November 2020, FRSC considered an audit of current policy guidelines and agreed that a principles-based framework be developed to guide the process for updating policy guidelines into the future.
Status
An audit of current policy guidelines and statements has been completed. Work to create a framework to guide review and updates to policy guidelines and statements is expected to commence in 2026–2028.
